TUITION AND FEESop
In
order for Sacred Heart High School to operate effectively
and maintain high standards, it is essential for all
parents to understand and comply with the school policy
regarding the payment of tuition, fees and enrollment
contracts. Families are informed in the early spring
regarding the cost of tuition.
TUITION POLICY 2007-2008
Families are encouraged to register or re-register
students for the upcoming school year before June 1.
Families must commit to one of the four tuition payment
plans at the time of registration.
Tuition
Payment Plans:
All
tuition payments are made directly to Sacred Heart High
School
Tuition for the 2007-2008 school year is $6,200.00

Payment in Full: Payment is due by July 1, 2007. ( 3%
discount rebate check )
-
Semi-Annual Payment: Due by July 1st and
December 1st.
-
Ten
(10) Monthly Payments, beginning July 1st and
due the FIRST of each month by electronic withdrawal
from a checking or savings account.

Payment by Credit Card – VISA or MASTERCARD.

Student Registration Fee: $150.00

This
one time fee is not part of the tuition.

General Fee Payment Schedule

fees are non-refundable

Incoming Freshmen: Due on Registration Day

Upperclassmen: Due on May 1, 2008

Graduation: Due on April 1, 2008

Delinquent Tuition/Fees
-
Tuition
payments are due the first of the month, a late fee of
$25.00 will be billed.
-
For a failed
electronic payment due to insufficient funds or check
returned by the bank, a fee of $30.00 will be billed.
-
For
delinquent tuition payments: bank check, money order or
cash are required - no personal checks.
-
Delinquent
tuition will result in immediate suspension. The
student will not be accepted back into school until
delinquent tuition is paid and minimally one month
pre-paid tuition is received.

There will
be no admittance to mid-term or final exams or a
subsequent marking period.
-
School
documentation (i.e. report cards, transcripts, diploma,
etc.) will not be issued until all delinquent tuition
and fees have been paid.

Graduation
candidates will not be permitted to attend or
participate in graduation traditions (e.g. prom or
graduation ceremonies).
Previous Years’ Delinquent Tuition/Fees
-
Students with delinquent tuition or fees from a previous
year will not be allowed to re-enter the school in
September.

If a
student leaves the school with an outstanding tuition
balance, the family will be liable for collection
through a collection agency, a lawyer or an appearance
in court. Sacred Heart High School will have the right
to require payment for court costs, reasonable
attorney’s fees, interest and other collection costs
related to the delinquency to the extent permitted by
the laws of the State of New York.

Late
Registrants
-
All fees are
payable at the time of registration.

Students
beginning school at any time in the second semester will
be required to pay half the general fees.

The tuition
is pro-rated according to the number of months remaining
in the school year.
-
Those
registering after July1st will not be able to take
advantage of the 3% discount for full payment. However,
the full and semi-annual payment plan may be utilized.

Monthly
payment plan: tuition payments must be made two months
in advance of attending classes, e.g. registration in
August, 20% of the annual tuition is due; registration
in September, 30% of the annual tuition is due.

Students Leaving During the School Year
-
If
applicable a tuition rebate will be given for the months
paid and for which student will not be attending
classes.

A
full month’s tuition will be required for a student
attending classes during any part of the month.
